Hello,
I freshly installed the version 2.4.1 in my NAS server.
The immich is set behind a reverse proxy with https (certifiacte from letsencrypt) to https://photo.mydomain.com I setup my router to serve dns name, as well as my public dns.
I followed the recommendations on the documentation page
The server perfectly communicate with my authentik server for user management.
I can success fully connect to the server using a web browser on a PC, in either local network or from outside.
on my phone (android), with the wifi unactive (ie. I'm outside the local network), I can connect to the server with a web browser as well as with the app using the https url.
BUT,
when the wifi activated, I am inside the local network... then the web browser works with the url; not the immich app. (and it work if I give the IP:port as address)
looking into the phone's log it write failed host lookup and also OS Error: No address associated with hostname.
that is strange; because the same device with the browser has no problem to find the server with the url (and immich app work when giving IP+port).
#Failed host lookup

This sounds like an issue with your network/dns, not with Immich
yes, I think so; but I cannot find exactly what...
web browsers works, the ping works... only the app seems to not find the hostname.
do you use any kind of split dns? I've had issues with IPv6, IPv6 responding a different thing than IPv4
