#Added external library now server won't run

I'm on a Synology DS920+ Immich was running perfectly until I added an external library I updated the docker-compose.yml file with the path. Stopped Immich, uploaded the new *.yml file, did a clean and build. I restarted Immich in the container and now I'm getting a server error and the server refuses to run. Have no idea what I've done to cause this.

The database is busy upgrading, I assume you changed the image. I hope you did not stop the stack

autumn tapir
#

Yes I did stop the container not sure what a stack is

modern zephyr
#

yeah, the container. That was not a good choice

autumn tapir
#

I stopped it so I could upload the yml file

modern zephyr
#

you'll have to start it up and let it sit for a bit. it should be fine. if not you will need to restore backup

autumn tapir
#

Oh, wonderful. Being a noob had no idea

#

Ok, thank you. If the server doesn't run. I'll do a restore. Thank you

#

I restarted the container and am getting this error message several times: Container immich_server stopped unexpectedly. Go to Container Manager for more information

modern zephyr
#

IDK what that means, must be something specific to synology

autumn tapir
#

Also getting curl: (7) Failed to connect to localhost port2283 after 0 ms: Could not connect to server Fail: exist code is 7

modern zephyr
#

well is the database done upgrading?

autumn tapir
#

I don't think so.

modern zephyr
#

then immich won't work until it is done

autumn tapir
#

Not really sure how to tell.

modern zephyr
#

check the postgres logs

autumn tapir
#

postgres logs showed no errors tried reconnecting to port 2283 and I have access again. So was the database updating? Or was it due to my noob move of stopping the container?

#

Thank you for your help Zeus. Much appreciated!!
