#Updated and lost photos while I see see them in the storage folder

I updated to V1.128 sometime back and lost access to photos. I left it for a while. Moved places and changed my NAS to a new ip address. I tried restoring again but in vain.

So I tried logging into Immich again and it started with the admin account. I logged in and it’s all empty. But the storage shows 377GB is in use.
Not sure if I should restore before upgrading Immich to stable version.

Were you prompted to create a new admin user?

Because that means you're not using the same database data and thus effectively starting a new instance, which won't pick up your old files

As I mentioned before, it broke when I updated to v1.128. The link shows the steps to backup but I'm not able to see my older profile or pictures.

I'm a beginner here, so please let me know if you need any more info. Your help is super appreciated

I'm using Terramaster NAS and I see the pictures are stored here worth 127GB but I have 377 GB pictures as shown on Immich home page

You can see the folder backups in there @modest dome you could use one of those to restore 🙂 One that was made before the upgrade of course
