Cheapest, reliable setup

I'll soon run out of Google photos 200gb storage which makes me want to move to immich. What setup is reliable and cheap? I'd want a cloud provider that isn't sketchy if possible.

Reminder that having your data in 1 place is no backup

But a simple raspberry pi or other SBC with an external drive will work just fine (albeit slow).
Or a small (second hand) computer
