what drive is the DB_DATA_LOCATION on?
its an attached external USB drive
what filesystem?
if it's NTFS or FAT, that's not supported.. https://immich.app/docs/install/requirements
lsblk -f. yes.
yeah, not supported for DB_DATA
not that big. few GB
okay thanks
@prime grove is the upload_location where currently stored photos are that I want it to scan to the library
hmm okay, I see https://immich.app/docs/features/libraries but when i tried to add the external library it says it cannot find the path
did you follow the instructions to mount the volume ..? https://immich.app/docs/features/libraries/#mount-docker-volumes
our docs are pretty comprehensive ๐
got it... thank you
any idea how long it will take to import ~100GB of photos/videos (running this on a pi4)
haha ok
I wouldn't be surprised if >1 week haha
is there a way to remove existing photos
i.e. i had it mapped to a location with photos
it started scanning
i stopped, took docker down, changed location and then started with a different location
