#Formatting drive where Immich photos are stored

If I currently have my Immich photos stored in an external drive formatted as FAT32, would something happen if I reformat it as exFAT and paste the same exact contents?

I'll have to make sure that the name of the media is the same right? I mean, if the device was recognised as/media/user/ABCD-1234 , it'll need to be the same right?

It just needs to end up mounted on the same path inside of the container

but if I set my UPLOAD_LOCATION to a specific location in that drive, I need the drive to have the same label

I did it today and everything went ok. I had to change my UPLOAD_LOCATION in the .env file as the path of the drive changed, and run docker compose up -d to save this
