#Updating from 1.95 to current DB problems I think

I am updating from around 1.95 to the current. I have tried to use the new .yml and .env files. I have noticed that the new .env file has a "DB_DATA_LOCATION" variable that the old one didn't.

Is there a guide for updating the installation. I doing some searches this clearly has to do with the database and its location. What do I need to do in the new .env to capture the database from the older installation.
