#Does the /library/upload folder watch for new files?

I'd like to use the built-in renaming as I feel like it'll organize my files better (I'm bringing in a lot of pictures spanning a lot of different phones, computers, and libraries).

If I copy a folder of pictures into the /library/upload folder, like /library/upload/newImport/photo.jpg, would Immich see that newImport folder and start working on it?
