ChatGPT Business is specifically designed as a workspace plan for teams and organizations, not for individual use. It requires:

  • A shared workspace with multiple members
  • At least 2 paid seats (any mix of Standard and Premium) in that workspace [Business overview; Business FAQ]

Because of this 2-seat minimum and its focus on team features (centralized billing, admin controls, SSO options, etc.), it is not offered as a single-user subscription. Individuals are instead expected to use the personal plans (Free, Go, Plus, Pro) [Business overview].
