Bug Report: Legacy ChatGPT app always reverts model and reasoning level to Auto in normal chats
`Steps to Reproduce`
  1. Open the legacy ChatGPT app.
  2. Open a regular (non-Temporary) chat.
  3. Try selecting a different model and reasoning level.
  4. Send a message.
  5. Observe that both the selected model and reasoning level automatically revert to Auto.
  6. Open a Temporary Chat and repeat the same steps.
  7. In Temporary Chat, the selected model and reasoning level work correctly.
`Expected Result`

The selected model and reasoning level should remain as configured in both regular chats and Temporary Chats.

`Actual Result`

In regular chats, both the selected model and reasoning level are automatically reset to Auto, and my selections are ignored. The same settings work correctly in Temporary Chat, so the issue appears to affect only normal conversations.
