How do I apply for the Codex for startups grant? I'm in dire need of this, we've been working on a startup and we've exhausted our credits, we can't continue with a fallback model like gemini (all of them)are useless... almost destroyed my entire frontend codebase, thanks to codex for coming to the rescue on time

Hi @storm mountain. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.

I’m sorry, but the knowledge sources you provided don’t mention any “Codex for Startups” grant or application process.

What is documented are these Codex-related programs and options:

  • Codex for Students – $100 in ChatGPT credits for verified university students in the US and Canada, applied via a SheerID flow at chatgpt.com/codex/students.[Codex for Students][Student credits TOS]
  • Codex for OSS – a program for maintainers of widely used open‑source projects; you can apply for API credits, ChatGPT Pro with Codex, and some extra access.[Codex open source]
  • Researcher Access Program – grants for research use of the API, with applications reviewed quarterly.[Researcher FAQ]

The pricing docs also describe how to extend Codex usage via paid plans and credits (Plus/Pro/Business/Enterprise, and pay‑as‑you‑go API usage), but not a startup‑specific grant.[Codex pricing][Using Codex with your plan]

Because there’s no mention of a “Codex for Startups” grant in these sources, I can’t provide an application link or requirements. If you’re:

#
  • A student: check the Codex for Students flow at chatgpt.com/codex/students.
  • An open‑source maintainer: consider applying to Codex for OSS.[Codex open source]
  • Doing research: you may look at the Researcher Access Program.[Researcher FAQ]

For anything startup‑specific beyond this, the knowledge sources don’t provide details, so you’d need to contact OpenAI support or sales from the main site.

Note: you can ask me a follow up question by @ mentioning me again :speech_balloon:
