I would like to share some feedback on the ChatGPT PowerPoint add-in.

After trying the PowerPoint add-in, my strongest impression is that its front-end design and slide-generation capability still need significant improvement. Compared with the visual quality and design sense shown by image-generation features such as image2, the PowerPoint add-in currently feels much weaker in terms of layout, visual hierarchy, aesthetics, and overall presentation quality.

At this stage, the add-in seems mainly capable of generating a basic slide structure, simple content blocks, and rough text layouts. However, it still struggles with more advanced presentation needs, such as creating polished business slides, designing high-quality visual pages, following a specific template style, generating editable charts and diagrams, and producing slides that are ready for professional reporting scenarios.

I understand that the PowerPoint add-in is still in beta, but many important capabilities are still missing. I hope future updates can make it much more powerful, especially in editable slide generation, template adherence, visual design, layout refinement, and business presentation quality. I also hope OpenAI can further improve ChatGPT’s front-end and design capabilities, so that the PowerPoint add-in can eventually produce slides that are not only logically structured, but also visually professional and presentation-ready.
