#Where is the library tab now in the iOS app?

Hi @winter thorn. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.
On iOS, there isn’t a separate “Library” or “Images” tab in the bottom bar; instead, these are accessed through the sidebar and menus:
-
Files / Library
The Library itself is a web feature at<https://chatgpt.com/library,> but on mobile you can still work with saved files via:- The composer menu (attachment/add button) → Add from library to insert a saved file into a chat. [File storage & Library]
- Files you upload in chats are automatically saved to Library and can be managed from the Library page on web. [File storage & Library]
-
Images / My images
All images you create with ChatGPT are saved under Images / My images and can be accessed on web and mobile from the Images section. [Manage your images; ChatGPT Images on web & mobile]
The knowledge sources don’t show the exact current icon or placement of these entries in the latest iOS UI (e.g., which button opens Images/Library), only that:
- Library is primarily a web sidebar feature, with mobile support via “recent files” and file search. [File Library in ChatGPT]
- Tools (like image creation) on mobile are now consolidated under a Skills/tools button in the composer, not separate icons. [Mobile UI changing]
If you don’t see Library or Images as tabs in the iOS app, that’s expected based on these docs—you’d use the composer’s add/skills menus on mobile, and the full Library view on the web.
Note: you can ask me a follow up question by @ mentioning me again :speech_balloon:
