This is very much needed for ages.
Let me explain the struggle and I am pretty sure I'm not alone
If I specify "temporary" because it seems it's "just a quick question", 80% of the time I end up driving the subject and cursing myself I ticked the temporary flag.
So now I am having hundreds of chat sessions that have had very little interest, clogging my history and I need to cherry pick dozens every week to delete... And the session deletion removal UX is painful.
We need "X hours expiration" setting we can select by default, and the ability to "postpone" (i e. Increase the delay) or "keep it" (remove the delay), and a small screen showing the list of "next sessions to expire" ordered by increasing time proximity...
