Steps to Reproduce

Open ChatGPT Atlas.

Open
chatgpt.cominside Atlas as a normal browser tab. -
Separately, open another webpage such as Reddit.

Use Atlas side chat / Ask ChatGPT on the Reddit page.

Toggle Web Search ON/OFF and compare behavior.

Observe differences between:
- chatgpt.com web-app mode,
- Atlas side chat,
- active-page context,
- and Web Search behavior.
Additional observations:
- Web Search OFF still allows Atlas side chat to inspect the active p
Expected Result
Atlas should clearly indicate which context system is active for a response.
Examples:
- Using Web Search
- Using active-page context
- Using direct URL retrieval
- Using project files
- Using connectors
- Using memories/chat history
- Using browser memories
- Using normal chatgpt.com web-app mode
The UI should also explain:
- that chatgpt.com opened in Atlas is just the regular ChatGPT web app;
- that Atlas side chat/page-context mode is separate;
- and whether a URL fetch
Actual Result
The different context systems look similar in the UI but behave differently without clear explanation.
Observed confusing behavior:

Web Search can be OFF while Atlas side chat still reads the active page.

Web Search can be ON while direct URL retrieval still fails.

Opening chatgpt.com inside Atlas is not clearly distinguished from Atlas side-chat/page-context mode.

Users may incorrectly assume:
- Search ON means all URLs can be fetched;
- Search OFF means webpages c
