Bug Report: Fast answer routing issue
`Steps to Reproduce`

Use Android app. Go on desktop and turn fast answers off. Go to android app start a conversation with 5.5 on standard voice. It will still route you to 5.3. and it will change it to instant instead of thinking. I use standard voice 90% of the time so I'm unsure for 100% whether or not this is linked, but it seems to be. I haven't been able to get it to do it when not on standard voice.

`Expected Result`

When I use a standard voice, I expect to get model 5.5 if selected the entire time, not routed silently.

`Actual Result`

It may start out at 5.5 but not all the time. I've literally had it selected as thinking and it instantly gives me 5.3 instead.

`Environment`

Android.

I am now reliably repeating this bug on Windows 11 Chrome as well as on Android app if I use standard voice regardless if fast answers are turned off in my preferences.

This will happen on the very first message and if I go back to text chat it will immediately give me 5.5. therefore, I am not out of 5.5 usage.

Because this has been happening for days apparently I have restarted my phone and my Android app several times since this began. As well as restarted my browser. Since it's across platforms, this does not seem like a device issue.

If I'm just typing it seems to never happen.

I have verified that fast answers are turned off. However, I don't have the option on Android to even see if fast answers are turned off or any setting for adaptive thinking which other users claim they have.

Standard voices voice is not just nice to have. It's an accessibility tool that needs to allow equal access to the same product that users do through text.

The 5.x thinking models don’t support standard voice mode anymore. 5.3 seems to be the default for SVM.
This has been the case since late March, and since before fast answers were introduced.

It's only a matter of time before OAI removes standard voice entirely.. 😥 (which they said they'd do after they brought it back after the backlash)

If the newer models do not support the standard voice, probably 1 or 2 models in the future, or when they decide to release GPT6 and retire 5, it might just be gone entirely.
