I would like to request a “Find in current chat” feature in the ChatGPT Windows app, similar to Ctrl+F in a web browser.
Use case: in long conversations, I often need to quickly find specific phrases, code fragments, error messages, or previous decisions. In the browser version I can use Ctrl+F, but in the Windows desktop app this is not available or does not work the same way.
Expected behavior:
- Ctrl+F opens a search box inside the current conversation.
- It searches visible and loaded messages in the current chat.
- It highlights matching phrases and allows navigating between results.
- Ideally, it should also support case-insensitive search.
This would make the Windows app much more useful for long technical conversations and project work.
