Bug Report: CODEX crashes several seconds after start
`Steps to Reproduce`

This just started 3/30/26. Start CODEX, and it just stops running several seconds later. Repeated this 5 times.

`Expected Result`

It shouldn't stop running.

`Actual Result`

It stops running. App just closes. No error, no anything.

Windows 11

Related, would really like to know how to disable auto-update. I woke up this morning. Started using codex ... and it's busted. this is wrecking my workflow for today.

More info since someone else asked:

Win11 Codex app. It closes several seconds after start. No errors, just closes. Replicated 5 times. Found the logs, didn't find anything (obvious anyways) why it closed. Btw, before it closes I am able to type or do other things in codex so the app is "running". It closes independent if I type in it, or do nothing.

Honestly think their most resent update busted things on multiple fronts. I'd also recommend hitting f12 and checking the console to see if its throwing any errors at you if you can. If it crashes though I dont know if youd have time to see what kind of errors there are. I have a bug report in right now too right below yours.
