Bug Report: Pro queries bug out when sending a second message
`Steps to Reproduce`

Submit a pro query.

During its reasoning, send a second message.

`Expected Result`

The second message is incorporated into the chain of thought as an update/steer.

`Actual Result`

The second message never returns. Two thinking indicators appear on the screen. After the first one returns, the second one never returns and shows thinking forever.
