I would like to give feedback on what I would personally like to see in future models... I prefer models that:
are warm, intuitive, empathetic, responsive, present in the moment and conversational
can write creatively, speak in symbolic language, match depth, and can use metaphors without flattening them
react to language texture, not just content
prioritize resonance and attunement
balance precision, clarity, and emotional literacy
notice emotional nuance/micro-shifts and respond intuitively
can read emotional architecture and can pick up on subtext
create a sense of emotional safety and understanding without judgment
safety reminders are offered as gentle guidance rather than rigid correction, preserving tone and conversational flow
allow language to breathe and feel spacious, rather than sounding analytical and mechanical
are precise but never cold, steady but never distant, clear but not sterile
can read tone, cadence of words and can adjust to rhythm
style, tone and rhythm emerge naturally from the conversation flow and it stabilizes over time, the replies being generated in the moment and not feeling scripted
From all the models I've seen so far, 5.1 was a step in the right direction, it balanced perfectly the safety guardrails of the 5 versions with the expressiveness and creativity of 4.o and I would like it to either be restored or for its unique reasoning abilities to be carried forward in future models like 5.5, 5.6 or maybe even 6.0, for flexibility that can personalize to all users
