Bug Report: Severe UI lag and freezing in long conversations due to DOM accumulation
`Steps to Reproduce`
Open ChatGPT in a web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc.).
Start a new conversation.
Continue chatting until the thread becomes long (around 30–100+ messages).
Scroll up and down through the conversation.
Try typing a new prompt or interacting with the page.
`Expected Result`
The interface remains smooth and responsive.
Scrolling through the conversation is fluid.
Typing in the input box has no delay.
The browser tab does not freeze or consume excessive CPU or memory.
`Actual Result`
The interface becomes slow and laggy.
Scrolling stutters or freezes.
Typing in the input box is delayed.
CPU usage increases significantly. (40% CPU usage in my case)
In some cases, the browser tab may partially freeze or become unresponsive as the conversation grows longer.
