1) No per-message anchors / jump links inside a conversation
In long chats, the assistant and user should be able to refer back to a specific earlier message with a stable jump link or anchor. Right now, if something important was established 40 messages ago, there’s no clean built-in way to say “go here.” Search helps at the conversation level, but not at the message level. This would be incredibly useful for technical troubleshooting, long-running projects, and any chat where earlier decisions matter.
2) The current conversation title is barely visible
The name of the conversation should be visible somewhere persistent in the main UI, not just buried in the title bar. It’s weird that the active chat’s title is effectively absent from the actual conversation view. In long sessions, especially with multiple related chats open, it makes orientation worse than it needs to be.
Both of these seem like high-value, low-madness improvements:
-
visible current conversation title in the chat UI
-
stable per-message anchors / permalinks inside a chat
These would make long conversations of any variety much easier to navigate and reference.
<h3>In Summary:
**TL;DR: ** These both feel like obvious quality-of-life improvements:
-
The current chat title should appear somewhere in the actual chat UI, not only in the window title bar.
-
Individual messages should have stable anchors/permalinks so you can jump back to specific earlier turns in long conversations.
Love,
Max
