Bug Report: **SEVERE** client-side JS slowdown on chatgpt.com in Chrome & Safari (with zero extensions!)
`Steps to Reproduce`
ONLY as of last evening (March 5):
- Open an Incognito session in latest Chrome OR Safari on latest macOS (Tahoe 26.3.1) *without ANY enabled extensions.
- Navigate to chatgpt.com and click on an existing ChatGPT conversation with >15-20 user turns (i.e. >30-40 total turns).
`Expected Result`
Normal chatgpt.com behaviour — normal conversation loading speed, normal scrolling speed, normal response streaming, etc. — like has been the case up until yesterday evening (March 5).
`Actual Result`
- Loading + rendering a convo takes 10-30 secs to populate (or even longer — scales linearly with # of turns).
- Just scrolling the conversation leads to severe lagging in rendering the viewport.
- Severe lag / full tab freezing during generation & response streaming. Web client either sits at the blinking dot without showing anything, or shows "Thinking..." but then quickly shows "Streaming interrupted. Waiting for the complete message...".
- NO ISSUES in macOS app, iOS app, or Android app.
`Environment`
macOS 26.3.1 on M1 MacBok Pro, Chrome 145.0.7632.160 (Official Build) (arm64), Safari 26.3.1 (21623.2.7.11.7)
