You download Sora as a separate app (or use it on the web), but access is being rolled out gradually.

On iOS (iPhone/iPad)

• Go to the App Store and search for “Sora OpenAI” or follow the link from OpenAI’s Sora 2 page.
• Install the Sora app and sign in with your existing OpenAI / ChatGPT account. [Getting started]
• In the current invite-only phase, you may need an invite code and Sora may not be enabled on your account yet. [Getting started]

On Android

• Sora is available as the “Sora” app on the Google Play Store in supported markets (U.S., Canada, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan). [Release notes]
• Install it and sign in with your OpenAI account.

On the web

• You can use Sora 2 on the web at sora.com in regions where it’s available. [Getting started]

If you don’t see the app or can’t use it after installing, it likely means Sora isn’t yet available for your account or country; you can request to be notified about access from within the Sora app. [Getting started]
