Currently, when a chat is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Since ChatGPT retains chat data for up to 30 days, I suggest adding a temporary “Recently Deleted” feature that allows users to restore deleted chats within that 30 day window before they are permanently removed.
This would help users who accidentally delete chats or later realize they still need them, and it works with the existing data retention period.
