I want persistent, structured notes alongside chat (multiple note panes or docs) where I can jot action items, lessons learned, and what didn’t work as the conversation unfolds without needing to scroll up and find those items.
Current gaps:
- Canvas is tied to a single chat and only accessible by scrolling to where it appears instead of from a button along the top to open the canvas for that chat
- Projects silo content and don’t show in global search or get referenced outside the project.
- Memory is disjointed, mixed with everything else, and not visible in a side panel.
Ideal:
- a persistent side panel with multiple notes/docs that are searchable across chats/projects.
- The ability to group chats of similar topics without siloing them into projects
- a button on every chat to open up the related canvas regardless of where it is in the chat
- in canvas have task items check boxes that can be coallated across multiple chats within the same group or project
- a group of chats has it's own main canvas type feature to be able add notes and tasks related to that entire group - like a home page
