Bug Report: "Retry" on Android no longer shows model version or allows model selection
`Steps to Reproduce`

In previous versions of the ChatGPT Android app, tapping the “Retry” button on a response would bring up a model selection popup, allowing the user to choose which model (e.g., GPT-4o, GPT-5) to regenerate the response with. This popup also displayed the current model used for the existing message (e.g., “GPT-4o”).However, in the recent version:
Tapping Retry no longer brings up the model selection popup.
The model version used for the original message is not shown.

`Expected Result`

Tapping “Retry” should open a model selection popup;
The popup should display which model
generated the current message;
Users should be able to switch to a different model for regeneration.

`Actual Result`

No popup appears;
Model version is no longer visible;
No way to change models before retrying.Affects all users on Android; model transparency and control are lost.

`Environment`

Android ChatGPT App 1.2026.020(17)

Yes, it's the same with me, if you generate the prompt with the auto model it will appear, but if not, it won't appear.

I am also experiencing this. So frustrating. Tried uninstalling the app, too.
