Hi team — I’ve noticed some recent style and language changes that appear to soften GPT’s default responses, which makes sense if the goal is broad accessibility.
As a more advanced user, I tend to prefer high-altitude, high-compression responses, with follow-up used to unpack detail rather than front-loading explanation.
A possible idea: an optional “original” or “high-compression” personality that users can opt into, while keeping the current default experience unchanged.
Appreciate the ongoing work to make synthetic intelligence approachable without losing depth — not an easy balance to strike.
