Bug Report: Verifying Phone Number Causes Heavy Load.
`Steps to Reproduce`

Verifying your phone number corrupts your ChatGPT account and blacklists you from ever making another Sora2 video for some insane reason of coding failure.

`Expected Result`

Verifying my phone number would show I was a good boy who did what I was told.

`Actual Result`

I am completely blocked from making any new videos on Sora2. Get a perpetual lie about Heavy Server Load, which is a cover for being blacklisted since it is working fine for other people. Horribly cruel way to treat a paid user. Unacceptable service that has apparently gone unfixed for weeks. Will have to cancel my ChatGPT account and just lose everything.

In the event that a generation gets loaded, it will just spin and never produce anything until crashing out.

Also surprisingly there was an error message when I submitted the thread so now there is a duplicate because I thought the error message meant it didn't post... but it did.

Here is a good demonstration of the typical errors, the infinite loading, the something went wrong and the immediate rejection throdding the service. I was allowed brief access for 2 whole videos after 7 hours of attempting. There would have been a third, but I suffered the false copyright violation for reusing the same moodboard as in a previous generation. I mean if the generation hadn't been terrible I wouldn't need to try again, but all that stuff is just my own dumb IP no one cares about.

Sadly I don't think there is anything that can fix it. Cancel your account if you pay until they address the problem maybe. Send service tickets complaining, but I doubt there is a single real human who answers them to actually fix problems

Another thing that might help is reporting the story to the media. AI is a controversial topic and they would love to report on OpenAI letting an account crippling bug ruin the paid experience for their users without even an acknowledgement. Maybe that will light a fire under their feet to at least admit the issue and say they are working on it and compensate us for our losses or give us an ETA on a fix.

It could also be that after verifying your phone number you were meant to be placed in a priority queue of sorts that was never implemented, so everyone with that distinction is running into a wall of trying to load a server that can't be loaded, and heavy load is just their generalized fail message. The times you start to get through it put you in the regular queue for a moment

Did either of you verify using a phone number from a country where Sora 2 hadn't been rolled out in yet? I did, I'm really hoping I didn't just region lock myself

I am not sure if they would track you IP address not matching your area code location thinking that is signs of a burner number, but that would be weird since a lot of people move and don't want to change their phone number on everything they ever interacted with and force everyone they know to change their contact information.

I am able to create videos with great difficulty. since checking the phone number has not been the same again. I can create one video per day on average.
