@tall shard are you using the app or browser?

For browser:

Open browser > settings > find "site settings" > then "all sites" > search for "OpenAi" and "GPT" in that list > delete data > then reopen the browser and try again.

For App:

Go to the homepage on your phone > hold your finger on the GPT app icon > select "App info" > find storage > "clear data" > reopen the app and sign in > try again.

(Don't worry, none of this has an effect on your account data)

Oh, I checked devtool, and found out request for chat data returns 500 Internal Server Error. ("The conversation is corrupt. Please start a new conversaion. Reason: cycle")

Guess chat data itself got corrupt...

I don't know if I can reply here, but I have being experiencing the same issue as u. The last time that happened to me (corrupted chat) was 6 months ago, but I can't delete, move, or open the conversation again. It will just show "Unable to load conversation Conversation ID".

I can attach screenshots and conversation ID if required.

Also: The issue occurs at least in browser, android app, windows app. So I think it's my account.

Just went through support chat, and got support email after a day.

Sometimes, users of ChatGPT might see errors like 'Something went wrong' or similar. The error you've experienced could be due to a range of factors. It might be an issue on our end or possibly a problem with your internet connection.

...

Even without a reported outage or issues with your network, these errors can randomly occur. While they're less common for ChatGPT Plus subscribers, they can still occur from time to time. In most cases, retrying the request later resolves the problem.

Yeah, they didn't read my message or understand the problem. 500 response but client caused the error. Wow.
