-
Describe what you want
- In the Create tab, chat with the GPT Builder and say what you want, e.g.
“Make a GPT that helps me with X” or “Make a coding assistant that formats my code.” [Creating a GPT; GPT Builder]
- In the Create tab, chat with the GPT Builder and say what you want, e.g.
-
Configure the details
In the Configure tab you can: [Creating a GPT; GPTs FAQ]- Set Name and Description
- Add Instructions (how it should behave, what to avoid)
- Add Prompt starters (example first messages)
- Upload Knowledge files (optional)
- Choose Capabilities (web search, image generation, code interpreter / data analysis, custom actions)
-
(Optional) Add Actions / APIs
- In Custom actions, paste an OpenAPI schema and set auth if you want your GPT to call external APIs. [Creating a GPT; GPT Actions getting started]
-
Test it
- Use the Preview pane to chat with your GPT and see if it behaves how you want. [GPTs Enterprise]
-
Publish / save
