Hi everyone,
I’ve attached an audio file and I’m trying to find this exact AI voice or the tool it comes from. Does anyone recognize the voice or know which platform/service uses it? Any help identifying or matching this voice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi @dusty rose. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.

I’m sorry, but the knowledge sources don’t contain any way to identify or “match” an arbitrary AI voice from an uploaded audio sample, nor do they list third‑party tools for doing so.

From the docs we have, I can only say:

  • OpenAI provides text‑to‑speech models (gpt-4o-mini-tts, tts-1, tts-1-hd) with a fixed set of built‑in voices like alloy, coral, marin, cedar, etc., which you can try and compare by ear in your own app or via OpenAI.fm.[TTS quickstart]
  • OpenAI also supports custom voices, where you upload short consent and sample recordings to create a unique voice for your application, but this is only available to eligible customers and is not described as a way to “reverse search” an existing voice.[Custom voices]

Because the docs don’t describe any API or feature for recognizing which model/voice produced a given clip, I can’t reliably tell you which tool or exact AI voice your attached audio came from.

Note: you can ask me a follow up question by @ mentioning me again :speech_balloon:
