Hello, I do Sora 2 for work sometimes and I noticed today I can’t access the website. Is this not available in the USA?

Sora 2 is supported in the United States, but only in specific ways and with some caveats.
From the docs:
- Sora 1 on web (sora.chatgpt.com) is available in all OpenAI supported countries, which includes the U.S. [Sora countries; API countries]
- Sora app and Sora 2 are only supported in a smaller set of countries: Canada, Korea, Japan, United States, Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan. [Sora app & Sora 2 countries]
So in principle, Sora 2 should be available in the U.S. If you suddenly can’t access it:
- Make sure you’re accessing from a supported country/region and not via a VPN or network that appears to be elsewhere.
- Try clearing browser cache/cookies and using an incognito window or different browser, as location errors can persist after travel or network changes. [Traveling & access]
- If it still fails, contact OpenAI support (via the Help Center) and mention that you’re in the U.S. and previously had Sora 2 access so they can check your account.
