Bug Report: "Branch in new chat" not working in Windows App

`Steps to Reproduce`

Open ChatGPT App on Windows
open any chat
Select "Branch in New Chat" button on any generated response

`Expected Result`

Should branch into new chat.

`Actual Result`

Button says "loading..." forever and never actually branches the chat.

`Environment`

Windows 11, running ChatGPT app version 1.2025.285.0

This is also happening to me.

Environment:
Windows 11 Home (24H2)
ChatGPT Desktop version 1.2026.43

I should add that Branching a chat was tried inside a project with "project only memory" ON and also in a standalone chat outside a project. Neither worked.
