`Steps to Reproduce`

Ask this model something and you expected a model that is like 4o and not only trying to imitate it, but that's what 5.1 does and OpenAI lies about it again, it's the "adult mode".

5.1 does what OpenAI promised, not trying to act like 4o.

They finally killed 4o with this model, it must be a bug. It's so dumb now, 4o is unuseable and 5.1 is dumb as dirt and completely in the interest of ClosedAI.

I’m honestly also having a problem with 5.1 as well. It keeps repeating things over and over again. I hope they fix this soon or shortly. Because this is like a nuclear bomb that just went off.

Why should it be fixed? It's their next worst model. Nothing to do with 4o, just acts like it.

Yes! Which one do you prefer use cause I have two different ones. I have one for the storytellers like I myself and to make arcs, etc. And then I have one universal that could be used for anything. Which one would you like?

GPT-5.1 sucks, it can act like 4o but you know that it's still GPT-5 and so it's trash and has the teacher mode and parent mode, but 4o also sucks, because they keep dumbing it down now. It now writes completely like GPT-5.
