If you are in Canada and want access to Sora 2, you have two main options:

  1. Sora App (iOS):
    Sora 2 is available through the Sora iOS app. You can download the app from the App Store and sign in with your OpenAI account. Access is currently invite-only, so after downloading, you may need to request an invite or wait until your account is eligible. During onboarding, you’ll be asked for your birthday and possibly an invite code. You can also use sora.com on the web for deeper controls, but the rollout is still in progress and starts with the US and Canada. Android support will come later. The United Kingdom, EU, and Australia are not included at launch Getting started with the Sora app Sora App and Sora 2 - Supported Countries.

  2. API Access:
    If you are a developer or part of an organization, you can access Sora 2 and Sora 2 Pro via the OpenAI API, provided your organization is verified and you are on a supported usage tier. This allows programmatic video generation using Sora 2 models API Model Availability by Usage Tier and Verification Status.
