To upgrade to Sora Pro after paying for a ChatGPT subscription (such as Plus), you need to follow these steps:

  1. Go to Sora on the web: Visit the Sora web interface (note: these instructions apply to Sora 1 on web, not the Sora app or Sora 2).
  2. Access your plan settings: Click on your profile icon on any Sora page and select My plan from the drop-down menu.
  3. Manage your plan: In the settings dialog, select Manage plan.
  4. Upgrade to Pro: Click the Get Pro button under the Plan type to complete the upgrade process.

If you want to cancel your plan later, you can do so from your ChatGPT account settings under Account > Manage > Cancel Subscription.

Important:

  • Only ChatGPT Plus users can upgrade to Sora Pro using this method.
  • These instructions are specific to Sora 1 on web. The process for Sora 2 or the Sora app may differ, and the knowledge sources do not provide details for those at this time.
