Bug Report: ChatGPT 5 Pro switches to ChatGPT 5 Auto after every prompt

`Steps to Reproduce`

Select ChatGPT Pro, then send a prompt

`Expected Result`

Model should stay as ChatGPT Pro

`Actual Result`

Model switches to ChatGPT 5 Auto after prompt is sent

`Environment`

Windows, Google Chrome

Same here, really irritating. Half the time I forget to switch & have to end the convo to switch it back.

frank osprey Anybody else getting this problem?

I have when I selected thinking models, but this only happens for me on Perplexity Comet, it still works on other browsers and the Windows app though. I don't know how.
