You cannot use a regular photo of yourself to generate a Sora video. Uploading images with depictions of real people—including yourself—is blocked for video generation. This is a deliberate policy to prevent misuse and protect privacy. The only way to use your likeness in Sora videos is through the Cameo feature, which requires you to opt in and complete a video-and-audio verification process. Cameos let you appear in videos you make, or in videos made by people you specifically approve, and you always control who can use your likeness and can revoke access at any time.
