I saw on an Instagram post that I would be able to use apps within chatgpt. Specifically for me I’d like to use canva however I can’t seem to do so right now, may you give me some guidance?

Canva Connector vs. Canvas Feature

It appears there may be some confusion between two different features:

1. Canva Connector (Third-party Integration)

Canva can be connected to ChatGPT as a connector, which allows ChatGPT to search and interact with your Canva account. According to the connector availability documentation, Canva connector availability depends on your subscription plan:

  • Plus users: Available for chat search (as of August 11, 2025)
  • Pro users: Available for both chat search and deep research (as of July 24, 2025)
  • Team/Business/Enterprise/Edu users: Available for both chat search and deep research

Important note: Canva connectors are not currently available for users located in the EEA, Switzerland, and the UK.

To enable the Canva connector:

  1. Go to Settings → Connectors → Connect
  2. Select Canva and follow the connection process

2. Canvas Feature (Built-in ChatGPT Tool)

Canvas is a different feature - it's ChatGPT's built-in interface for working on writing and coding projects with editing and revisions. This is not related to the Canva design tool.
