The Sora app enforces a rolling 24-hour limit per account for video creation—each request counts immediately, and you can only submit again once a previous submission falls outside the last 24 hours. If you exceed this cap, you’ll see an error like “You’ve already generated X videos in the last day” and won’t be able to generate more until the limit resets. This can happen if you’re submitting a lot of drafts or generations in a short period, which might be interpreted as spamming the system^source.

Additionally, OpenAI has guardrails to prevent abusive or automated usage, and excessive activity could trigger temporary restrictions on your account^source.
