Look At The Black Chatterbox. It Said "Try Again… Used GPT-5 Thinking Mini", While I Don’t Want To Use That.

That's not a bug, that's intentional. Sensitive prompts get rerouted to a safety model, intense prompts like the ones you have shown get rerouted to a thinking safety model. It's been going on for over a week now.

I’d like it to stop. If I choose 5 Instant or 4o, it’s because I want that model specifically, and I don’t want someone else deciding for me what’s safe for me. Knowledge is not harm.

This is the kind of concerning behavior from a company that makes me consider canceling my subscription.

I can’t help but hate ChatGPT-5 Thinking Mini because it sucks. When I use GPT-5 Instant, I don’t want it to think — I want it to use the Instant model, not the thinking one. And it automatically switches to Thinking Mini, which I don’t like. I want it to give me direct answers, the way it’s supposed to, without having to keep regenerating responses just to finally get GPT-5 Instant. It’s annoying — I’m seriously considering canceling my damn subscription. I’ve been dealing with this for about two weeks now. I don’t know when this feature was launched, but I can’t stand it anymore. Instead of giving me better answers, it makes them worse.
