Hello, So I would like to know what prompt I can use for ChatGPT or Sora 2 so that my suggested image has a better video creation so it relies on the image and turns that image into the generated video from the custom prompt used? Like if it's raining in the image. When the video generates it either prevents gravity making the rain still or it has the rain falling in slow motion not making it realistic physics gravity to the rain. another thing is when I add an image of bigfoot smiling with his teeth showing. Sometimes the teeth don't part from the middle of the mouth and part from the bottom of the lip so is there a prompt or something I can do so that I can prevent any major noticeable errors with the video generation since we only get 100 prompts every 24hrs.

Hi @rough solar. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.
I'm sorry, but the knowledge sources do not provide specific prompt templates or detailed guidance for ensuring that Sora-generated videos strictly adhere to the physics or details present in an input image (such as realistic rain movement or precise mouth/teeth animation for a character).
However, here are some best practices and features you can leverage, based on the available documentation:
-
Be Clear and Specific in Your Prompt: Clearly describe the desired motion and physical properties. For example, you might say:
"Create a video from this image where rain falls naturally with realistic gravity, and Bigfoot's teeth part naturally from the center of the mouth as he smiles."
Being explicit about the expected behavior can help guide the model, though perfect adherence is not guaranteed due to current model limitations Prompt engineering best practices for ChatGPT. -
Iterative Refinement: If the first result isn't satisfactory, use the "Remix" or "Re-cut" features in Sora to describe corrections or desired changes, and generate a new version. This iterative process is recommended for improving results Generating video content on Sora.
-
Leverage Storyboard: The Sora storyboard allows you to specify what should happen at specific timestamps, which may help you control the sequence and pacing of visual elements. You can upload your image as a starting frame and describe the desired motion or transformation in subsequent cards Using Storyboard in the Sora editor.
-
Acknowledge Model Limitations: Sora and similar models may struggle with precise physical realism or detailed anatomical accuracy, especially for complex motions or facial features. There is no guarantee that specifying details in the prompt will always prevent errors like unnatural rain movement or incorrect mouth animation Creating images on Sora.
-
Maximize Prompt Value: Since you have a limited number of prompts per day, make each prompt as detailed and unambiguous as possible, and use the available editing tools to refine outputs rather than starting over each time.
In summary, while you can improve results by being explicit and iterative in your prompts and edits, there is currently no foolproof prompt or setting that guarantees perfect physical realism or anatomical accuracy in Sora-generated videos. The tools are designed for creative flexibility, but some limitations are inherent to the current technology.

@jolly relic How would I go about fixing Lip-sync and making sure there are no deformation in the video and that there is no transitions until I mention it in the prompt for Sora 2 video generator?
Let me check the knowledge base for you again. One moment! :books:
Based on the available knowledge sources, there is no explicit documentation or prompt template that guarantees perfect lip-sync, prevents deformations, or disables transitions unless specified in the prompt when using Sora 2 for video generation.
However, you can apply the following best practices to improve your results:
-
Be Extremely Clear and Specific in Your Prompt:
Clearly state your requirements, such as:- “Ensure accurate lip-sync with no mouth or facial deformations.”
- “Do not introduce any scene transitions unless I explicitly request them.”
- “Maintain the character’s facial structure and avoid unnatural movements.”
Being explicit helps guide the model, though it does not guarantee perfection due to current model limitations Prompt engineering best practices for ChatGPT.
-
Iterative Refinement:
If the initial output is not satisfactory, use Sora’s Remix or Re-cut features to describe corrections (e.g., “fix the mouth movement to match the audio” or “remove any transitions between scenes”) and generate a new version. This iterative process is recommended for improving results Generating video content on Sora. -
Storyboard Control:
Use the Sora storyboard to specify exactly what should happen at each timestamp. This can help you control pacing and prevent unwanted transitions by only describing them when you want them to occur Using Storyboard in the Sora editor.
- Acknowledge Model Limitations:
Even with detailed prompts, Sora may not always achieve perfect lip-sync or avoid deformations, as these are known challenges for generative video models. There is no setting to “lock” transitions or guarantee flawless facial animation Creating images on Sora.
Summary:
- Use clear, specific prompts to state your requirements.
- Refine outputs iteratively using Sora’s editing tools.
- Use the storyboard to control scene changes and transitions.
- Be aware that some limitations are inherent to the current technology.
If you need more control, you may need to perform manual post-editing outside of Sora, as the platform does not currently offer advanced controls for these specific issues.

@jolly relic What other generation prompt tips you can give that you haven't gave advice on that will help me with my Cameo influencer to make sure everything looks perfected like a professional footage being displayed.
Let me check the knowledge base for you again. One moment! :books:
Here are additional prompt tips—based strictly on the knowledge sources—that can help you achieve more professional, polished results with Sora or similar video generation tools:
-
Use Positive, Granular Instructions: Frame your requirements positively and break down complex actions into granular steps. For example, instead of “don’t show any background errors,” say “ensure the background remains consistent and free of visual artifacts throughout the video” Key Guidelines for Writing Instructions for Custom GPTs.
-
Structure for Clarity: Use delimiters (like section titles or markdown) to separate different instructions or requirements. This helps the model interpret each part of your prompt correctly and reduces the chance of merging or skipping steps Key Guidelines for Writing Instructions for Custom GPTs.
-
Explicitly Define Success Criteria: Clearly state what a “professional” result means for your use case. For example: “The video should have smooth camera movement, consistent lighting, and natural facial expressions, similar to high-quality influencer footage” Reasoning best practices.
-
Request a Specific Tone or Style: If you want a particular mood or cinematic style, specify it in your prompt (e.g., “in a cinematic, high-contrast style with soft lighting”) Prompt engineering best practices for ChatGPT.
-
Provide Reference Media: If possible, upload reference images or short video clips that exemplify the look and feel you want. Sora allows you to upload images or videos as part of your prompt, which can help guide the generation toward your desired outcome Generating video content on Sora.
-
Iterate and Refine: Treat the process as iterative. Start with your best attempt, review the output, and then refine your prompt or use Sora’s editing tools (like Remix or Storyboard) to address any issues you notice Generating video content on Sora.
-
Test and Compare Variations: Generate multiple variations and compare them to select the most professional-looking result. Sora allows you to create several variations per prompt, which can help you find the best fit Generating video content on Sora.
-
Check for Consistency: Instruct the model to maintain consistency in character appearance, background, and lighting throughout the video (e.g., “Ensure the influencer’s appearance, clothing, and background remain consistent in every frame”).
