Hi @glass hound. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.
Sora is not free. Access to Sora, OpenAI’s video and image generation model, is available to users with ChatGPT Plus, Business, or Pro subscriptions. ChatGPT Free tier users do not have access to Sora for video generation, and only have limited image generation capabilities. There is no mention of a free tier for Sora in the knowledge sources. Unlimited usage is included with paid plans, but usage must comply with OpenAI’s Terms of Use and may be subject to temporary restrictions to prevent abuse Generating videos on Sora Creating images on Sora Understanding Unlimited Usage.
Note: you can ask me a follow up question by @ mentioning me again :speech_balloon:
@glass hound Kapa.ai is still learning and improving, please let me know how I did by reacting below.

Sorry @weak berry, I seem to be having a bit of trouble. Don't worry though, I've pinged my support and they will try to fix me up! :technologist:
Perhaps try again in 15mins?
Can I get an invitation code of sora2?
@slim flax Is there a way to make the image to video better quality based on prompting like how could I improve on the prompt so that it doesn't mess up and does exactly what I requested for example: I say big foot drops his coffee and gets angry with the recommended image of bigfoot holding coffee. When the video generates. It starts out slow or the image freezes or it clipse for a second then starts another part of the video not being seamless from the image itself in the video.

The knowledge sources do not provide detailed, model-specific guidance on improving the seamlessness or quality of image-to-video transitions in Sora through prompting alone. However, some general best practices for prompt engineering and using Sora may help you get better results:
-
Be clear and specific: Clearly describe each action and the sequence you want to see. For example, instead of a single sentence, break your prompt into steps: “Bigfoot is holding a coffee cup. Suddenly, he drops the cup. He looks down and gets angry.” This can help the model understand the intended flow General best practices How do I create a good prompt for an AI model?.
-
Use the Storyboard feature: Sora’s Storyboard editor allows you to specify what should happen at different timestamps. You can upload images or describe scenes for each card, and adjust the timing to help the video transition smoothly between actions. Leaving space between storyboard cards can help avoid abrupt cuts and improve flow Using Storyboard in the Sora editor.
-
Iterative refinement: If the first result isn’t seamless, try refining your prompt or storyboard. Adjust the descriptions, timing, or add more detail to clarify the transitions you want General best practices.
- Set video parameters: In the Sora editor, you can adjust aspect ratio, resolution, and duration, which may also impact the quality and pacing of the generated video Generating video content on Sora.
If you continue to experience issues like freezing or abrupt transitions, these may be current limitations of the model or editor, rather than something that can be fully resolved through prompting.
