Bug Report: GPT 4o brought back? It seems different.
`Steps to Reproduce`

Possibly the OpenAI / ChatGPT bringing in a buggier version of the original 4o.

`Expected Result`

The original GPT 4o brought back. It feels and acts a little different than it did before being taken out.

`Actual Result`

The model 4o that was brought back feels like a different model than the actual 4o.

It is different, it's maybe GPT-4o mini, which would be another huge mistake by OpenAI, cause userbase asked for the actual model.

OpenAI should officially out themselves as criminals, it's just not the real GPT-4o that they brought back, even though they promised, it's just a name in the UI, but what model? Nobody knows.
=> In parallel, no help from "support" that is not up to date, accordingly no feedback is accepted
They really do everything to fall behind at the market, with acting unimaginably dumb, and to die as a company in the end.

4o is now slow AF and i have to use it in the web so i can force the page to reload and show me the output. It is seriously uncool that it has been nerfed this way.

HEY OPENAI - As soon as 4o is no longer viable, my 2.5 year sub ends and I go try Claude! Get the act together and give us back our working 4o!

It isn't actually 4o. It's a worse model. Maybe they are for real ill as they seem to don't know what they are actually doing.

I mean id understand if the model isn’t working properly for a few hours or even days while the bugs it may have possibly gained are being fixed, but it’s clearly got the original 4o. It feels like 4o mini, which, like stated, wasn’t asked for by hundreds. We get it, GPT 5 coming out is a huge deal and not all attention is focused on 4o, the legacy model, but if it doesn’t get updated / fixed properly within the next few days then it’s not a mistake.

For me, problems with the “new” 4o are it ignores a lot of feedback and slightly lacks the personality it had before being removed. Kinda like 5.

We understand the company can’t cater 24/7, but could at least fix a model they ALREADY had that was working perfectly fine before being removed then re added, mind you, the SAME day.
