Bug Report: ChatGPT saying it can't produce images that are barely edgy
`Steps to Reproduce`

I asked ChatGPT to produce a Discord icon that says "PWNED" for a group taking a RT class. It says it's not allowed now, same for "404" or using an icon with an AI chip. Also said it can no longer create images with flames, glitch effect, claw streaks going through, or explosions even in a cartoony logo kind of way. It also refused to do an icon of a red robot because it's too edgy.

`Expected Result`

These are so mild they should not have been refused. It should be able to consider context as it always was able to before.

`Actual Result`

All image requests were refused as too edgy. I went to Gemini to compare and it created exactly what I requested, which is so mild there's no way to interpret it as harmful, it's literally a discord icon that says "PWNED".

`Environment`

Chrome Browser - ChatGPT 4o, Plus plan

[edited misunderstanding of the situation - sorry about that]

Your requests were probably rejected due to issues in your prompt or context. Be very aware that words are important and all context is used in the generation of every response - the response (for an image or text) is not limited to the most recent prompt.

I generated the images you said were refused:

So we know the filter isn't rejecting the specific things you cited as being "edgy".
That invalidates this bug report.

No, I can show you what I asked. I haven't had a chance to add to this report. Also, the images you tested were 1 request at a time, that may have made a difference.

ok, it won't let me add all 10 screenshots, so here's a few, along with 1 I did again just now with all requests in one.

#

I'm sure you do get plenty of 'bug reports' from people being sketchy or making stuff up, but maybe don't always assume that's the case. ๐Ÿ™‚

#

Note - I just redid the exact same prompt shown in my last image above which was refused in those prior images, but did it in a new thread (same project file) - and it was created without issue. So it seems my previous attempts above were getting false refusals probably from a cumulative risk score likely due to other context in that thread (I had asked a couple red-team related questions - related to encoding for a HackaPrompt challenge).

That's awesome! You got your image and you learned something about how to craft your prompts and use the tooling better. Now you can share that with others.
BTW, I'm just another community guy here, like you. I'm not staff. That gives me total freedom to call BS when I see it. ๐Ÿ˜† And to apologize if I'm wrong.

I edited my response above.

Fair enough and thank you
