The OpenAI help page for scheduled tasks in ChatGPT says that there can be 10 active tasks at once, but the ai model tells me that the limit has been reached when there are only 9 or 8 active tasks. What's going on?

The official OpenAI help page states that ChatGPT supports up to 10 active scheduled tasks at any time. If you reach this limit, you must pause or delete an existing task, or wait for one to complete, before creating a new one. However, the knowledge sources do not provide any information about issues where users are unable to create a new task even when they have fewer than 10 active tasks—such as being blocked at 8 or 9 tasks instead of 10.

There is no mention of known bugs, exceptions, or additional restrictions that would explain this discrepancy in the provided documentation. If you are consistently experiencing this issue, it may be a bug or a temporary service problem. In such cases, it is recommended to reach out to OpenAI support for further assistance, as the knowledge sources do not contain enough information to explain this behavior Scheduled tasks in ChatGPT.
