Still happening

Still happening and will spend to my older conversations if i open them. Can anyone at least acknowledge my bug report.

So the problem I'm having is now a feature because no one is acknowledging my report, nor has the problem been fixed. Because I "enjoy" having to copy my prompt to edit it in a new conversation to avoid the bug, and I "love" not opening my older conversations to avoid it spending to them.

(I could have sweared so much in this, but I'm showing so much restraint)

Let's be specific... Please answer every question or there won't be enough info for someone to reproduce the issue or fix it.

So you edit the prompt and process it, right?

Do you swipe away or move to another app while it's processing?

Now with the new response there, you move away from the app, or do you swipe to close the app?

When you come back, exactly how does it show both original and new prompts? Please post a screenshot, cuz that's a weird one.

It as I said, I a create a brand new conversation if I edit the very first prompt even once the close the app completely then if I decide to come back to the conversation I just started then the original prompt will be there and it's response, but also the edited version of the original prompt will be underneath as a new prompt.

I can't provide any more screenshots because the ones I've already have posted are the best way I can show the problem without recording my phone screen.

I'll say it again this time with numbers.

  1. Open the app.

  2. Start a new conversation with chatgpt.

  3. Create a prompt and wait for the response.

  4. After the response is finished, tap the edit icon to add something.

  5. Edit my prompt and wait for the response to finish.

  6. After I'm done with chatgpt, I close and swipe away the app to do something else on my phone.

  7. Later, I opened chatgpt to continue with my latest conversation.

  8. Open the latest conversation and see the first draft of my first prompt and the response to that prompt. Underneath the response is the edit version of my first prompt and the response to the edited version.

(Extra one)
9. If I open one of my older conversations and check the first prompt of the conversation, I see both the original draft and its response as well as every edit to the original and their following responses.

I can't give any more details to my problem or provide any additional screenshots with any more information. What a can provide is a screen recording of the process.

Surprise, Surprise, still happening. It's been over two weeks since I've reported this bug, and I assume that no one has touched the matter.
