The drone has an internal navigation system that allows specifying distance in cm, but also I’m running metric depth inference on the rgb feed using DepthAnythingV2, will need to create my own SLAM pipeline in the future for more precise control and path planning for the AI though
How do you think of doing that?

What happens if there is an obstruction directly below or in the surrounding?
The noise level was alright given even the toy ones make considerable noise. I did feel the lag though - from audio i/p - processing instruction - action. Not sure what involves to reduce it.
Obstructions below are sensed by the drone itself and avoided, but there’s no guard against crashing into the ceiling, atm there’s a software lock to prevent it. SLAM would solve that though
