Bug Report: Unable to connect
`Steps to Reproduce`

ChatGPT suddenly encountered a problem on all threads. I then disconnected and reconnected.
I'm told that an e-mail has just been sent to me, but there's nothing in either the inbox or the spam folder.

`Expected Result`

No code received after 20 minutes.

`Actual Result`

To be able to reconnect.

`Environment`

Windows 11. All browsers.

I’ve been contacted by OpenAI's technical support.
Their advice was to reset the browser, flush the DNS cache, and clear the history.

But after thorough testing, the issue clearly doesn’t come from my setup. It’s a case of poor OTP handling on OpenAI’s side, along with surprisingly bad configuration of their login-related messages.

Initially, all OpenAI messages went straight to spam, often arriving with significant delays:
– Up to 2 hours on Firefox Developer Edition,
– Around 15 minutes on Chrome, Brave, and Edge.

I eventually managed to log in on Brave, Chrome, and Edge.
But it’s still impossible on Firefox Developer, which is my main browser.

Every time I copy and paste the OTP code, I get a range of incoherent error messages:
– "Invalid code" (even though it’s a clean copy-paste),
– "Session expired",
– "Account no longer valid",
– "Server issue",
– and other nonsense of the same kind.

A whole night has passed — nothing has changed.

Posting this here to ask: is anyone else facing this issue?
Has anyone been able to log in successfully on Firefox Developer Edition recently?

Technical support resolved the problem despite a Firefox bug that prevented HAR files emitted by Firefefox from being examined correctly.
